Many procedures performed in our office are covered by your MEDICAL insurance. If you have a referral based medical plan (e.g. Keystone Healthplan East and Aetna HMO) you will be required to obtain a referral from your primary care physician for the first visit. The procedures commonly covered by medical insurance are: impacted third molar (wisdom) teeth, TMJ evaluations and appointments for examination and removal of oral lesions.
